Zach Running specializes in creating large statement art pieces on canvas and wood, as well as custom furniture with an artistic twist. He builds the frames and stretches his own canvas, which allows him to create rather large pieces of art, in custom sizes.
Growing up, Zach spent most of his time in the woods and nature continues to be a major inspiration to him to this day. Many of his pieces have a very organic look to them because of this.
When he is not making art or furniture, he is often playing piano, watering some of his plants, wake surfing, or just hanging with his husband and two dogs.
When he creates art, he likes the piece to make you think. The name of the piece is very important to him and relates to the purpose behind the design. Together they create a connection that makes it more than just a piece of art.
