At this newly opened Care Center, Central Indiana Orthopedic offers comprehensive, expert care including a Walk-in Clinic, surgery center, and physical therapy. With this being a new medical building, we used artwork that make you feel warm and welcome as soon as you walk through the door and promotes calm and healing as you continue through the building. In addition to signage, we used metal photography and paintings along with a photo wall mural in physical therapy to create this comforting and engaging environment.

It is important that our space reflects who we are and what we do, but also be comforting and engaging for our patients. Our artwork was selected for our patients and clinicians because we want to help take them beyond the walls of a typical clinical look and feel. We all love how it came together and can't wait to open our doors and share it.

I like how the artwork gives some character, especially to a new building. It helps liven up the space here at CIO. If I could have picked any three pieces in the whole building it would be the three that were selected for my waiting room so I'm excited to be able to look at them every day.
